Best friends and designer duo Ugo Mozie and Quinn Ashton from Houston, Texas started Aston Mozie in December of 2008 when the two were only 17 years old. Starting the company in their hometown, they decided to make the big move to New York City after graduating from high school. We know the handsome pair from their Fall 2010 collection premiere alongside accessories duo Coco and Breezy.
The duo gets inspiration from their upbringing and childhood like the bulletproof-inspired vests from Ugo’s younger brother’s love for Aerosoft guns, or Quinn’s favorite childhood shows Transformers and Power Rangers. Despite being young, they’re definitely not kids. Honey sat down with the two to uncover how they got started and how they’re balancing school, work and everything else life has thrown at them…
