Singer Erykah Badu has decided to plead not guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct she received following the filming of her controversial “Window Seat” video. The Texas-based singer gave her not guilty plea on Wednesday, April 28. In the music video, which was filmed near Dallas’ Dealey Plaza, Erykah Badu strips down to nothing. Her bold statement angered several people who were on hand when the video was shot. One spectator even stepped forward to file charges against the singer.
