Aural pleasure is sensing your emotions ignore restraint and melt into a chord. It’s hearing an Einstein sixteen and feeling your brow wrinkle like a three-hour soak. It’s a verse that tempts your tears or woos your hips. The rhythms we want when tonguing a crush, pulling a friend’s palm to the dance floor, warming a heartache, trashing a sour love, throwing a middle finger to the world … embracing the world. It’s good fucking music, literally and sentimentally.
Peep Honey’s weekly five-track play list and start lusting hard. After all, who can resist great aural?
1. Estelle ft. Kardinall Offishall — “Freak”
Estelle and techno? At first sight the combo solicits an instant WTflyingF, but hot freaking damn Honeys, squeeze your fists tight because Stella’s got her groove back. And Kardinall (surprisingly) doesn’t even drop the ball (for too long). This cut’s the lead single off her forthcoming album, All Of Me.

2. Ludacris ft. Trey Songz — “Sex Room”
Thank the good Magic City gods, Luda’s back to his old self again. It’s looking like all of Battle of the Sexes might see the light of the internet before it’s drop date, but that shouldn’t deter us from showing our support in dollars. This latest leak is definitely “Splash Waterfalls” part deuce, with Trey falling a bit short on the hook, but brother Bridges keeps all the juices flowing. No, literally.
Listen while: wondering what Luda’s new quiet lady thinks of this.

3. Curren$y — “Fly Monsterz”
If only this dude had swallowed just a few more jugs of patience with Wayne in ‘07, he would’ve been prancing in Young Money heaven right about now. Peep the proof and sigh.
Listen while: hoping Curren$y sends Wayne some jail letters

4. Young Jeezy ft. Plies — “Lose My Mind”
Here’s the street single off of Jeezy’s coming TM103. Classic, head-knockin’ goonery.
Listen while: pulling out the E40 shades.

Don’t think The Roots are the only vital hip-hop band, this first single off of Dujeous’ coming sophomore album, Day In Day Out will move more than just your hips. Thank us later and hit up a live show March 20th at NYC’s The Bitter End.
Listen while: hopstopping directions to Bleecker.

YES, That Estelle joint is crazy.
the sex room song is crazyyy but i disagree i love trey songz on the hook
i agree the hook of sex room could be a bit better. But what could be better than Luda joint? I tell you nothing – gosh luv him. And as for the quiet girls, they are always the ones with the most… i’ll let you fill in the blanks

yeh that sex room song is quite official! Love me some Ludaa
Sex Room is definitely working for me. I think Trey Songz can do no wrong, but I do agree something is off about the hook. I’m blaming heavy and extra busy instrumental behind the vocals, though.
I luv Ludacris and Trey Songz joint. I luv the song “Sex Room” ever since I bought the album. I really love this song and the album. So i really look forward to seeing what he is going to do for the next album!!!!
