Recent reports claiming that Britney Spears was “rushed” to the hospital have since been labeled false. According to Britney’s rep, Spears was only at the hospital receiving a routine checkup and that everything is alright. Reports claim that Spears was escorted to UCLA Medical Center’s Mattel Children’s Hospital by two vehicles and a police car. Even Perez Hilton had something to say regarding this issue via a Twitter posting: “I’m hearing that @BritneySpears is in the emergency room right now. Hope it’s nothing major and everything is okay! Maybe her kids?” Fortunately both Spears and her children are just fine. “Everything is fine,” says Spears‘ rep. “Britney is there for an annual physical.”
