Hip-Hop choreographer, Shane Sparkspleaded not guilty yesterday to eight counts of felony child molestation. Best known as the choreographer on “So You Think You Can Dance” and as one of the judges on MTV’s Americas Best Dance Crew, Sparks was arrested last December after being accused of committing lewd acts upon a child and oral copulation of a minor over ten years ago. Sparks’ defense attorney, Steve Meister insists that his client is indeed innocent. “My client didn’t do anything and he shouldn’t be charged with anything,” Meister told E! News following the arraignment. “I think he’s innocent and that the prosecution could not and should not be brought. These allegations did not come out of the blue, they came from outer space. They came from another solar system.” Sparks’ next hearing is set for April 20, and Meister says he plans to file a motion for dismissal. As of right now, Sparks remains out on bail.
