Lady Gaga Is Tudor’s First Female Brand Ambassador

After staying out of the ambassador game for almost 20 years, Tudor brought soccer superstar David Beckham into the fold back in May, kicking off its “Born to Dare” campaign. In a shocking turn of events, Tudor has just announced another big name ambassador – the brand’s first female ambassador, no less – in Lady Gaga.

This is an interesting move for Tudor, to say the least. As a brand that traditionally focuses on tool-oriented men’s watches, I don’t think anyone could have seen this coming. Having already announced their first in-house chronograph (with the movement made in partnership with Breitling), introduced a two-tone Black Bay, and updated quite a few other products across the collection, it’s been a big year for Tudor.

Lady Gaga may seem like an unlikely match, but there’s no question she’s an accomplished artist with massive reach and pop culture caché. She has won six Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe, with over 30 millions albums sold (and 150 million singles). Her performance at Super Bowl LI in February 2017 was pretty memorable too (despite the lack of dancing sharks).

Adding Lady Gaga to the Tudor ambassador line up is sure to shake things up and get Tudor in front of an entirely new audience. It will be interesting to see how both Lady Gaga and David Beckham are involved with the brand going forward. For more, visit Tudor online.
