Zoe Saldana Launches Media Brand to Help Showcase Diversity

Zoe Saldana is launching a digital media company, BESE (pronounced “bee-say”). The name is a combination of the word “be” in English and “se,” the Spanish word to know.

The 39-year-old actress says the platform is aimed at millennials and Gen-Z Latinx. As she believes they are the most underrepresented in mainstream media. From there Saldana’s team will branch out to help tell the stories of people of color as a whole. The company will do so by hiring people of color so the story can be determined from the inside out. BESE will produce digital stories in editorial, video and podcast form.

    Yvonne, Thank you so much for this.I sometimes get frustrated reading the word and this was a great reminder to prayer before entering into His word and asking Him to reveal the lessons and teachings to me. We must commit to understanding God”s word which requires time and effort. I keep reminding myself the Word was written for all to understand before the internet or other such modern resources were available. God has given us all the answers to live a meaningful life, we just need to take the time to study his word and all will be revealed.
