REBIRTH 2008!!!
Hey What’s UP!
It’s your local busy bee Aeshia checking in to give you the 411 on the latest must attend event in NYC.

Rebirth! 2008: “Homage to Black Cinema” is an evening of independent film, art, music and culture inspired by the young influential African Americans that gave birth to the Harlem Renaissance, as well as a celebration of this cultural revival that continues to appear in the New York City community today, held on March 29, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the showroom of Helen Mills Studio.
This elegant evening will appeal to the five senses by offering an independent short film showcase featuring several emerging filmmakers (sight), musical mood provided by DJ Herbert H. Holler from the infamous Freedom Party (sound), an array of exquisite hors d’oeuvres and complimentary cocktails provided by Moet Hennessy (smell/ taste), and an amazing setting that will encourage networking and mingling (touch).
Advance tickets are $50 for NYULYP members and $65 for non-members. Advanced ticketholders will also have access to the exclusive after-party.
