This week-end the indie music and film scene converge on Philly for the 2nd Annual Black Lily Film & Music Festival.

Black Lily is known for launching the careers of Jill Scott, Jaguar Wright, India Arie and many others!  At the helm of this “sisterly festival” are recording duo the Jazzyfatnastees, who have taken their monthly music series (Black Lily) to another level.

Join us May 1-4 as we celebrate the musicians and filmmakers who will make this year memorable.

I’m looking forward to the film shorts including the clever “I want you” a black and white short with a poetic backdrop and a concert that will have Philly on it’s feet.  The line up includes my girls Slick & Rose, Amanda Diva, Jack Davey and more!
